Job summary

Ebenezer in Burnsville, MN invites applications for a Life Enrichment Assistant II. This role supports planning and implementing leisure, social events, and programs to help memory care and assisted living residents maintain their potential physically, socially, and mentally.

The schedule is 76 hours over two weeks, dayshift with rotating weekends. Responsibilities include coordinating activities, encouraging participation, promoting independence, and even driving the community bus or van.

Qualifications

• Experience with Memory Care required.
• Good communication and social skills.
• Must have current driver's license.
• Comfortable leading activities with older residents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates leisure programs, activities, exercise classes, and special events for older adults in an assisted living residence.
• Encourages resident participation and reports changes in residents' mood and physical status.
• Promotes independence and helps develop socialization
• Takes initiative to engage residents and find commonalities to connect on
• Drives community bus/van
• Other duties as assigned by the Activities Director
