Independence Village at 4775 Village Dr, Grand Ledge, MI 48837 seeks a Life Enrichment/Activity Assistant. This full-time role (Tue–Sat; various hours) offers $16/hour and focuses on planning and performing enrichment activities to support residents' social welfare and interests.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of related experience, can work evenings/weekends/holidays, and shows compassion for seniors while collaborating with the Life Enrichment Director and team.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday hours.
• Compassionate toward the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Proficient in general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning, communication and execution of activities and life skills.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director and Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain a high level of resident safety in all tasks.
• Assist with setup, cleanup and upkeep of activity areas and spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings and coordinating tasks with safety in mind.
• Adhere to all standards in the Employee Handbook.
