Job summary

RiverWoods Exeter is hiring a Life Engagement Facilitator (Activities Assistant) to join our healthcare team. The role focuses on leading group activities and promoting active lifestyles for residents with diverse cognitive and physical needs.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, healthcare experience is a plus, and a positive team mindset is essential. This is a full-time role with a 5-day work week and every third weekend requirement.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required; continued education in related field preferred.
Preferred experience in healthcare or related field.
Experience with residents or activities coordination is helpful.

Responsibilities

Connect with residents to lead group activities and share enriching experiences to promote purpose and meaning in their lives.
Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities program of the facility; follow Life Engagement Manager directions.
Develop professional relationships with residents, family members, coworkers and supervisors to enable open communication and teamwork.
