Job summary

Waltonwood seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to support activity planning and fitness programming for residents, and to help run the volunteer program. You will work under the Life Enrichment Director to assess resident interests and coordinate engaging activities that promote social, physical, and mental well-being.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a passion for enriching seniors’ lives, with duties ranging from event setup to daily program administration within a caring community.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and conducting group activities preferred.
• Experience with seniors; memory impairment care preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Enrichment Director with coordinating and facilitating activities and events for residents, inside and outside the community.
• Encourage resident socialization and participation to promote a positive environment.
• Maintain inventory of supplies for Life Enrichment programs.
• Coordinate the community volunteer program and assign tasks to volunteers.
• Provide administrative support to the Life Enrichment team.
• Welcome new residents at move-in and assist with related setup.
