Job summary

The Classic at Hillcrest Greens is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support activity programming for our residents. You will help plan and lead engaging activities, fostering joy and community while ensuring safety and a welcoming environment.

Ideal candidates bring enthusiasm for seniors, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt plans for diverse residents. Evening hours and occasional weekend events are required.

Qualifications

• Enthusiasm for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with residents of diverse backgrounds.
• Creativity and adaptability in planning and implementing activities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Evening hours including special events.
• Weekend availability (every 4th weekend).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparing, and leading activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Support residents’ participation in activities, encouraging involvement and fostering a sense of community.
• Help organize events such as games, crafts, musical sessions, outings, and wellness-focused activities.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all activities.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure activities meet individual needs and preferences.
