Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant preferred; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively implements life enrichment programs as planned to meet residents’ needs and interests.
• Communicates residents’ preferences and concerns to the Life Enrichment Director.
• Assists residents to and from events and outings as scheduled.
• Maintains rapport with families and encourages family involvement in programs.
• Assists during meals and snacks to promote social interaction.
• Completes attendance records for activities in a timely manner.
• Provides input on residents’ participation assessments when requested.
• Supports residents’ routines and preferences and coordinates with the team.
• Assists volunteers and programs in collaboration with Life Enrichment Director.
• Assists with ADL needs during activities as needed.
• Participates in regulatory and accreditation processes.
