Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Yardley, PA is seeking an enthusiastic Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents, fostering social interaction and holistic wellness.

You will manage calendars, budgets, coordinate with outside groups, and help with setup and cleanup, while ensuring activities meet residents' needs. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, or lesson planning is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement resident activities, including calendar development and budgeting.
• Coordinate with outside organizations; manage setup and cleanup.
• Ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Provide oversight of specific life enrichment components as assigned.
• Transport residents to events and drive company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff; follow safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities--

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements--

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license
• Required: Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements
• Required: Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehiclesPrefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.

Legend Senior Living is a drug free workplace and drug screening will be conducted at the company’s discretion. This position may require the associate to work evenings and weekends as needed.
