Legend Senior Living is seeking a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging resident activities, enhancing their daily lives and well-being. You will manage calendars, coordinate with external partners, and coordinate transportation as needed, including driving a company vehicle.

The role emphasizes meeting residents’ needs and preferences, overseeing activity components when required, and ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors or event planning is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• May oversee a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity).
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup

Requirements

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license

• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.
