Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Colorado is seeking friendly and dependable Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistants to plan and execute engaging resident activities. You will help create calendars, coordinate with outside organizations, and support daily enrichment programs.

The role requires a current, valid driver’s license and a willingness to transport residents in company vehicles. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and a passion for improving residents' quality of life is essential.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience working with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, or demonstrated creative skills.
• Stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and implementation of resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup and cleanup.
• Help ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Be willing to oversee a specific life enrichment component (e.g., Memory Care) as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to and from outside events, including driving company vehicle when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
