Job summary

StoryPoint Adel is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to support planning and performing activities for residents in a senior living community. This full-time role requires helping with life skills, coordinating events, and ensuring resident safety during activities.

Position hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekends as needed for larger events. Compensation starts at $16 per hour, with opportunities to assist and grow within the Life Enrichment team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.
• Proficient in general computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety.
• Support in proper setup, clean up and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces.
• Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
