Job description

Position Summary

The LifeCafe Supervisor oversees the daily shift operations in the LifeCafe. They deliver a high‑quality experience to members, motivate staff to ensure excellent customer service, and monitor food quality and speed of service to ensure a positive member and guest experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage LifeCafe shift operations while making schedule adjustments based on traffic flow
• Act as daily shift leader by providing a high level of customer and team support
• Ensure team members prepare menu items correctly and serve customers in a professional manner
• Provide promotion and disciplinary recommendations to the Manager
• Manage light food prep responsibilities
• Quickly and efficiently respond to member questions, comments, and concerns

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• ServeSafe certification within the first 60 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend and lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time
• Night and weekend availability is required based on the business needs

Preferred Requirements

• 1‑2 years of supervisor or manager experience with a food service or retail background in a high‑volume atmosphere
