Carrington Mortgage Services, part of The Carrington Companies, is hiring a Lien Release Specialist to work onsite in Westfield, Indiana. You will process recordings of reconveyances and lien releases, audit vesting, and collaborate with an external vendor to meet timelines.

The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and effective communication with customers. The position requires mortgage industry experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple documents

Qualifications

• Two years or more experience in the mortgage industry.
• Knowledge in preparing service releases and auditing mortgage notes and documents.
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes daily paid-in-full loan requests.
• Orders collateral files or other documents as needed.
• Obtains Deed of Trust or Mortgage Recording information.
• Obtains assignments if needed.
• Works with outsource vendor to complete requests within timelines.
• Reviews original collateral documents.
• Resolves exceptions as reported by the vendor.
• Prepares releases for filing with county agencies.
• Assists customer service with lien release inquiries.
• Reconciles payoffs as determined by the company for various states.
• Audits vesting of legal entities for accuracy.
• Provides vendor and tracking reports to management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
