Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Technology Project Management Lead to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects in a hybrid Mexico City setting. You will manage SDLC processes, lead cross-functional teams, and drive risk mitigation and stakeholder alignment to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a related field, PMP or Agile certification, and 7–10 years of experience in IT project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• PMP or Agile certification is highly desirable.
• 7–10 years of IT project management experience with delivery of complex technology projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and various project management methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (Jira, Asana, MS Project).
• Experience with cloud technologies, cybersecurity, and data management is a plus.
• Hybrid work model from Mexico City office.
• Fluency in Spanish and strong English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of technology projects from initiation to closure.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, timelines, and budget.
• Oversee execution, monitor progress, and mitigate risks and issues.
• Facilitate communication among team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Ensure adherence to Agile, Waterfall, and best practices.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, software solutions, and system upgrades.
• Manage budgets and track expenditures for cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to leaders.
• Mentor project teams to foster collaboration and high performance.
• Ensure successful deployment and adoption of new technologies.
