Job summary

Aeva is seeking a Verification and Validation Engineer to design and implement robust test solutions for LiDAR systems. The role focuses on hands-on testing, automation, and data-driven validation in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with R&D, Hardware, and Software teams to ensure testability and drive issue resolution, leveraging Python and data analysis to identify trends and root causes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Verification and Validation for hardware/software systems.
• Experience with electromechanical or optical systems (Lidar a strong plus).
• Strong Python for test scripting, automation, and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy V&V hardware and software test solutions for LiDAR sensors.
• Develop and maintain test software architecture and frameworks.
• Create Python scripts for test automation and data acquisition from sensors.
