Job summary

WGI is seeking a LiDAR Technician II to join our Geospatial team in Denver, CO. The role involves in‑office work with moderate travel, performing field data collection and LiDAR processing for transportation, infrastructure, and mapping projects.

You will work with RiPROCESS, TopoDOT, TerraSolid, and other platforms to process trajectories, generate point clouds, review alignment, and support project reporting. A team player with strong troubleshooting skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in Geomatics, GIS, Geography, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3-7 years of LiDAR collection/processing experience.
• Experience with mobile mapping and point cloud processing required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile, static terrestrial, and UAS LiDAR collection operations.
• Process GNSS/IMU trajectories and generate calibrated point clouds.
• Execute QA/QC and manage large geospatial datasets and deliverables.
• Mentor junior staff and assist with training.
