Job summary

SAM is seeking geospatial professionals to join a nationwide team delivering high-quality mapping products. You will process geospatial data, classify LiDAR, and compile features from LiDAR and orthophotography to support infrastructure projects across the United States.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Daily processing of geospatial data and evaluating accuracy per project standards.
• Classify LiDAR point clouds and compile features from LiDAR and orthophotography.
• Support mapping from LiDAR or imagery and ensure deliverables meet requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily processing of geospatial data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency, and ensuring compliance to applicable project and industry standards related to aerial mapping products
• Classification of LiDAR point clouds
• Compilation of mapping features from LiDAR point clouds
• Compilation of mapping features from orthophotography
• Other duties as assigned

• Excellent computer and technical skills, including MS Office Suite
