Job summary

MicroVision in Orlando, FL seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily LiDAR hardware manufacturing, ensuring safety and on-time delivery. You’ll supervise a team, drive continuous improvement and coordinate with engineering, supply chain and quality to meet goals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing/engineering or related field, 3+ years of manufacturing leadership, and experience with ERP/MRP/MES systems and Lean/Six Sigma principles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Experience with ERP/MRP/MES systems and Microsoft Office.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
Lead, coach, train, and evaluate production employees.
Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time completion of manufacturing orders.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with Mfg. Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve operational issues.
Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Track and report production KPIs and support corrective actions.
Support new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up activities.
