Job summary

MicroVision, based in Orlando, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead LiDAR hardware manufacturing and drive safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor.

You will supervise staff, collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams, and push continuous improvement across operations to meet goals. Onsite five days weekly; requires commuting distance to Orlando facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP/MES systems and Microsoft Office.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Lead, coach, train, and evaluate production employees.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time completion of manufacturing orders.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Mfg. Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve operational issues.
• Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Track and report production KPIs and support corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions and manufacturing scale-up activities.

As a key member of MicroVision's Operations team, you will collaborate with various technical teams across the company to bring market-defining LiDAR products into production. The Production Supervisor leads daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of LiDAR hardware and related products. This position is based onsite at MicroVision's Orlando, Florida facility and requires regular in-person attendance five days per week. Work schedules are determined by management based on business and operational needs. Candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the Orlando facility.
