Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus clerical experience.
• Must complete CDL test examiner trainer course and examination.
• Nationwide background check with fingerprints prior to certification.
• Ability to retain knowledge of DMV policies and procedures.
• Pass New Employee Training and have working knowledge of the Phoenix System.

Responsibilities

• Issues driver's licenses, permits, IDs, registrations, plates, and related documents.
• Handles transactions and collects fees; maintains records and daily reports.
• Researches and resolves customer inquiries about driver, vehicle, registrations, and insurance.
• Operates equipment and software to issue credentials and process documents.
• Relays and enforces DMV policies; supports compliance with state legislation.
