The Licensing Support Specialist position includes a comprehensive benefit package, training program and competitive salary! This is a remote work from home opportunity.

Licensing Support Specialist Overview:

The Licensing Support Specialist will assist in all aspects of agent licensing, including auditing, tracking, follow up, customer service and data entry. This position will work directly with brokers and agents to assure the accurate and timely filing of all necessary licensing and paperwork to comply with state law and carrier specific requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review and process contract paperwork for carrier appointments and agent licensing.
  • Audit existing agent licenses for accuracy and ensure all paperwork and licenses are current and complete.
  • Provide support to agents during the licensing process and ensure all outstanding items are submitted.
  • Notify agents of outstanding or missing information as part of the licensing process.
  • Maintain agent licensing data for all carrier appointments.
  • Follow up with states and insurance carriers for license renewals or missing info requests as needed.
  • Compliance with all laws affecting the appointment and licensing of agents and brokers.
  • Assist Licensing and Compliance Lead and Licensing Support in the running of reports, and follow up with agents and brokers for questions related to licensing.
  • Processing of state assessments.
Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong PC and data entry skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment with strict deadlines.
  • Prior experience in insurance licensing preferred.
