Job description

This is a mission critical position which analyzes and applies information to state and local license applications both for new stores and renewing the licenses for existing stores in States in an assigned region. Works with state and local agencies in critical, States to secure various state and local licenses for stores to engage in critical sales and operational activities: eg. Tobacco Retail Licenses, Alcohol and Beverage sales licenses, Food Service and Safety licenses. Supports Corporate and Franchisee operated stores in challenging and critical States in assigned region. Daily interaction with several Departments and groups at HQ and in the Field.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Analyze the laws of States and local Governments and applies the requirements for obtaining critical sales and operational licenses in assigned region.
  • In States in designated regions, Interact with Franchisees and Corporate Operations personal to obtain information to complete applications and provide status of listening activities.
  • Interact with State and Local licensing officials in States in assigned regions to obtain relevant licensing information.
  • Maintain their part and oversee maintenance of their assigned regions' part of a comprehensive licensing database
  • Provide advice and counsel on application of various licensing requirements to current and proposed operations
EDUCATION:

Associates/2 Yr Degree

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Strong reading and analytical skills
  • Extensive Experience with database software programs
  • Proven detail orientation and curiosity are essential
