Job summary

AmeriLife is seeking an organized administrative professional to maintain agent records, review contracting paperwork, and submit forms to keep agents licensed and contracted up to date.

You will coordinate with marketers, state agencies, and the corporate licensing department, communicate clearly, and ensure accurate data entry across our systems and carrier portals. This role supports compliance and client service efforts across the licensing workflow.

Qualifications

  • Prior administrative experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail, time management, multi-tasking.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and PDF, willing to learn new software.
  • Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain agent records in our database.
  • Review carrier portals for status changes based on weekly reports.
  • Review agent contracting paperwork and licenses for integrity.
  • Prepare and submit contracts via email or carrier e-contracting platform.
  • Communicate via email/phone with staff or carriers for outstanding items or updates.
  • Verify valid insurance licenses, CE compliance, and vector status.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail.

Job Summary

Maintains records, compiles information, and submits forms in order to keep agents licensed and contracted, along with keeping our records of agents’ statuses up to date. Coordinates with marketers, state agencies, and the corporate licensing department to ensure timely and efficient processing. This person will be professional, polite, and attentive, while also being accurate. This person will always be prepared and responsive, willing to meet each challenge directly. This person should be comfortable with computers, general office tasks, and excel at both verbal and written communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Create and maintain agent records in our database.
  • This includes reviewing carrier portals consistently for status changes, and updates based on weekly reports from the carriers.
  • Review agent contracting paperwork and licenses received for integrity.
  • Prepare and submit contracts that are processed by either email or through a carrier’s e-contracting platform.
  • Communicate via email and/or phone as necessary with agency staff or carriers for any outstanding items, contract updates, or issues that require further review or escalation.
  • Verify valid insurance licenses, CE compliance, and vector status.
  • Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e‑mail, and mail.
  • Anticipate the needs of others in order to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
