Job summary

WildBrain CPLG is seeking a Licensing Director, Softlines and Collaborations, to lead the softlines business, securing and managing relationships across apparel, headwear, footwear, bags, and related collaborations. You will develop category strategies, go-to-market plans, and retail roadmaps in collaboration with Retail Development and Product teams.

The role focuses on driving social and digital engagement, negotiating licensee terms, and overseeing budget, forecasting, and performance

Qualifications

• Significant experience managing a brand and product line.
• Marketing and/or sales related experience in softlines categories.
• Strong relationships with premium, luxury and trend driven brands.
• Knowledge of fashion / home retail, merchandising, licensing/contracts.
• Proven ability to drive change and results through influential leadership skills.
• Demonstrated presentation skills with a persuasive nature.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual category strategies; identify and outline licensee opportunities and new product introductions.
• Develop comprehensive category growth strategies based on market trends and research.
• Partner with licensees to create annual business and go-to-market plans; manage contract negotiations.
• Budget and forecast sales and royalties; monitor quarterly performance and sell-through reports.
