Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Compliance and Audit professional to ensure licensing requirements are met and renewals tracked. The role involves researching state and local regulations, preparing license applications, and coordinating with Pharmacy, DEA, and Business license teams.

The candidate will support internal/external audits, translate regulatory rules for Walgreens units, and liaise with corporate departments to resolve licensing issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience reviewing, analyzing and adhering to regulatory programs OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 4 years licensing experience.
• Experience with processing business forms and government documents.
• Experience communicating with diverse audiences and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and renewal calendars; support internal and external audits.
• Research rules and regulations across states and licensing jurisdictions affecting Walgreens operations.
• Analyze and translate jurisdiction rules to complete licensing requirements for Walgreens units.
• Prepare and file Pharmacy, DEA, Business, and other licenses; ensure timely submissions.
• Coordinate with Walgreens departments to gather license deliverables and address changes.
