Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensing and brand licensing specialist to proactively manage licensed products across brands, licensees, and agents. You will serve as the primary liaison for brand approvals and help shape licensing and retail strategies through data analysis.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to drive sales, review licensee performance, and guide development timelines from concept to market, ensuring projects stay on track and fittings align with strategic brand

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in licensing, retail, merchandising, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of brand positioning and product development.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable adapting to change while keeping communication open and clear.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with a collaborative and approachable style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with online product approval systems and Amazon is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Proactively managing all aspects of licensed products across our brands, licensees, and licensing agents.
• Acting as the primary liaison between the licensees and internal teams, responsible for brand approvals.
• Assisting in developing licensing and retail strategies by analyzing data and sharing recommendations for new business opportunities.
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners to implement strategies that drive sales and brand objectives.
• Maintaining a working understanding of the retail landscape and reviewing sales performance for key licensees.
• Working directly with licensees and agents to bring new products to life in a collaborative and solution-oriented way.
• Guiding the licensee development process to keep projects on track and manage timelines effectively.
