Job summary

Jobot, on behalf of an Am Law 100 law firm client, seeks a Licensing Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Life Sciences and Technology Transactions practice in San Diego.

You will draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, advise on IP and regulatory issues, and support diligence and transactional teams across life sciences and technology sectors.

Qualifications

• J.D./LL.M. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Bar admission in California or Massachusetts (or eligible).
• 3+ years drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for life sciences or tech clients.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (including NDAs, MTAs, license and collaboration agreements).
• Advise on IP, regulatory, and risk issues in contracts.
• Support diligence and deal execution for life sciences and technology transactions.
• Review IP assets and related contractual obligations.
• Manage high-volume contracting and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
