The Office of Strategic Alliances & Partnering (OSAP) focuses on industrial partnerships, material transfer agreements, confidentiality agreements, IP strategy, patents, and licensing to start-ups and industry partners. Reporting to the Senior Director, Business Development and Licensing, the Licensing Associate plays a key role in managing communications, inquiries, and activities in a fast-paced, high-volume business development environment. The role supports the Senior Director in evaluating, protecting, and licensing intellectual property, and works collaboratively across OSAP to establish industry collaborations. Responsibilities include case triage, market research, partner outreach, and handling the business side of patent case management - coordinating with stakeholders to help move faculty inventions toward commercialization.

The expected base pay range for this position as listed above is based on a 40 hour per week schedule. Broad provides pay ranges representing its reasonable and good faith estimate of what the organization reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, qualifications, and other factors permissible by law.
