Job summary

The Walt Disney Company in Glendale, CA is seeking an Analyst, Licensing Analytics to join the Americas Licensing Analytics team. You will develop analyses from retail and licensee data, partner with data scientists and technology to link data to insights, and craft dashboards for executives.

You will support forecasting, ROI sizing, and cross-functional projects, communicating actionable recommendations that shape licensing strategies and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience compiling, validating, and translating data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking to piece together data points.
• Proven competency in data collection, mapping/attribution, design, analysis and data quality control.
• Time-management to prioritize multiple requests and communicate status to leaders.
• Strong written and verbal communication to present concise recommendations.
• Comfort in ambiguity to determine questions, approach, and needed partners.
• Technical proficiency in data pipelines, ETL tools and languages (SQL, SSIS, Knime, Alteryx, Tableau Prep).
• Database tech such as Snowflake, SQL Server; visualization tools Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI, BO.
• Data warehouse/lake architecture; scripting languages such as Snowscript, JavaScript, VBA, Python.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate analyses linked to owned retail and licensee data with industry insights.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and with data partners on analytics projects.
• Support financial forecast, evaluability of theatrical performance, sizing ROI and ad-hoc analyses.
• Create dashboards and intelligence tools to enable interpretation of commercial performance metrics.
• Prepare decks for senior executives and socialize findings with partners.
