Description:
This role is a 3-6 month temporary position covering someone on leave. This role is available to LPNs and/or Med Techs. We can be slightly flexible with the hours and shift. Ideally 32 hours a week.

As a residential care facility – also called a rest home – Beaven Kelly Home provides the best of both worlds. Our residents are free to come and go as they please, and they have the structure and reassurance of around-the-clock assistance from professional nursing and support staff, if they need it.

We also offer respite care for elders, providing temporary relief for their regular caregivers.

This role is a 3-6 month temporary position. 32 hours a week. Can be slightly flexible with hours/shift.

We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our caring team. As an LPN, you'll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional patient care under the guidance of our registered nurses. Your Mission: Enhancing Lives Through Quality Care
Key Responsibilities:
  • Observation: Observe residents' conditions and contribute vital information for care planning, considering physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Care Implementation: Execute physician orders and nursing interventions, adhering to facility policies and the scope of practice set by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
  • Care Planning: Participate actively in resident care planning, supporting our nursing philosophy, goals, and objectives.
  • Safety: Uphold safety, security, and infection control policies to ensure resident well-being.
  • Monitoring: Monitor residents' conditions, report significant changes promptly, and document accurately for optimal care.
  • Education: Engage in educational programs, attend required sessions, and maintain necessary licenses and certifications.
  • Teamwork: Foster a positive, respectful, and collaborative environment among colleagues, residents, and families.
What We're Looking For:
  • Licensure: Current LPN or RN license in Massachusetts.
  • Experience: Recent experience in long-term, acute, or home care.
  • Observation Skills: Strong observation and teamwork skills; knowledge of MDS and Care Planning is a plus.
  • Strength & Flexibility: Ability to perform essential functions safely, with accommodations if needed.
  • CPR Certification: Current CPR certification.
