This role is a 3-6 month temporary position covering someone on leave. It is available to LPNs and/or Med Techs. We can be slightly flexible with the hours and shift, ideally 32 hours a week.

Join our vibrant team and bring joy to seniors' lives as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)! Our facility, Beaven Kelly Home, offers residents the freedom to come and go, with around-the-clock assistance from our professional nursing and support staff. We also provide respite care for elders, offering temporary relief for their caregivers.

This is a temporary role for 3-6 months, approximately 32 hours per week, with some flexibility in hours and shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Observe residents' conditions and contribute vital information for care planning, considering physical, emotional, and social well-being.
• Implement physician orders and nursing interventions, adhering to facility policies and scope of practice.
• Participate actively in resident care planning, supporting the nursing department's goals.
• Uphold safety, security, and infection control policies to ensure resident well-being.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report significant changes promptly, with accurate documentation.
• Engage in educational programs to enhance your skills, attending required sessions and maintaining licenses.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in Massachusetts.
• Recent experience in long-term, acute, or home care.
• Strong observation skills; knowledge of MDS and Care Planning is a plus.
• Ability to perform essential functions safely, with accommodations if needed.
• Current CPR certification.
