Job summary

NOV is seeking a Gauge Lab Coordinator to coordinate and administer Gauge Lab activities for the global licensee network, ensuring adherence to procedures, quality standards, and documentation.

You will serve as the main liaison between internal departments and licensees, maintaining accurate records of gauge transactions, certifications, and inventory, and supporting international procurement, calibration, verification, and inspections.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; further education is a plus.
  • Must read, write, and comprehend English.
  • 1-3 years experience in tubular inspection and gauge lab.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ERP-type applications.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and self-reliant.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming global requests for gauge and tooling procurement, rentals, sales, recalibration, verification, and related Gauge Lab services.
  • Coordinate inspection and qualification of connection samples per company standards.
  • Maintain Gauge Lab records to track licensee transactions and asset status.
  • Partner with Licensee Procurement Expeditor to coordinate international shipments and export/import docs.
  • Prepare and distribute qualification reports and supporting docs for licensees and auditors.
  • Investigate gauge-related issues and inquiries with the Gauge Lab team.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, licensee meetings, audits, and other activities.
  • Provide backup support for regional licensee activities and coverage.
  • Communicate operational status and performance of licensees to Licensee Management Team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Gauge Lab processes and licensee support.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Description
  • Coordinate and administer all Gauge Lab activities related to the global licensee network within LEC 3.0.
  • Ensure compliance with established Gauge Lab procedures, quality standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal departments and licensees regarding gauge-related activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of gauge transactions, certifications, qualifications, and inventory within LEC 3.0 and the Gauge Lab application.
  • Support the operational readiness of the global licensee network by coordinating procurement, calibration, verification, qualification, and inspection activities.
  • Communicate status updates, issues, and recommendations to the Licensee Management Team and other stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining professional relationships with licensees and internal customers.

  • Communicate the operational status and performance of licensees to the Licensee Management Team.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve Gauge Lab processes and licensee support.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the reporting manager.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED is required; additional advance education is a plus.
  • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
  • 1-3 years of experience within tubular inspection and gauge lab.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in an ERP type application.
  • Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and self-reliant.
