Job summary

Jacobs in Pampa, TX seeks a Licensed Surface Water & Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to lead operations at a 6 MGD surface water plant and a 3 MGD wastewater plant. You will oversee staff, safety, compliance reporting, and maintenance, while managing project budgets and client relations.

You'll supervise certified operators, monitor process performance, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvements across sources, equipment, and processes. Travel up to 10% is required.

Qualifications

• Texas Surface Water Treatment Class B Certification (Equivalent certifications from other states may be considered through reciprocity).
• Texas Wastewater Treatment Class B Certification (Equivalent certifications from other states may be considered through reciprocity).
• Five years of progressive experience in water and wastewater treatment.
• Able to travel up to 10%.
• Valid State Driver's License with no major infractions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, compliance reporting, maintenance of equipment and quality control testing of a 6 MGD surface water treatment plant and a 3 MGD wastewater treatment plant.
• Operate and maintain 8 water wells and 2 wastewater lift stations.
• Lead a team of certified operators while managing the project's financials and safety performance.
• Monitor, record and operate treatment processes; diagnose operating problems and implement corrections.
• Prepare required reports and maintain complete recordkeeping procedures.
• Inspect plant to determine efficiency, cleanliness and maintenance needs.
