Qualifications

• Must hold Wisconsin Water Treatment Operator's license or ability to obtain within a reasonable time.
• General knowledge of wastewater operations, sampling, and lab operations.
• Professional judgment and ability to perform general math calculations.
• Mechanical ability and ability to operate pumps, motors, and piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, inspect and maintain wastewater plant and water system safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and inspections as assigned.
• Collect samples for process control and compliance monitoring.
• Record data, logs and reports; ensure regulatory reporting requirements are met.
• Respond to field issues and locate underground utilities as needed.
