Job summary

Weston & Sampson Services seeks a licensed Drinking Water Operator to work in the South Shore, Massachusetts area. You will operate and maintain municipal and/or private drinking water treatment & distribution systems, and perform preventive maintenance and water quality testing.

The ideal candidate holds MA Grade 2+ licenses for Treatment and Distribution, a MA driver’s license, and the ability to read technical instructions. We offer meaningful work and growth within an employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Drinking Water Treatment Operator license – Grade 2 or higher.
• Massachusetts Drinking Water Distribution Operator license – Grade 2 or higher.
• Valid Commonwealth of Massachusetts motor vehicle license.
• Cross Connection Testing / Surveyor license preferred.
• Basic mechanical and electrical repair experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills, basic math skills, computer, reading technical instructions.
• Understanding of Massachusetts drinking water regulations and treatment processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain municipal and/or private drinking water treatment & distribution systems.
• Preventive maintenance and repair of treatment equipment.
• Water quality sampling and testing.
