Job description

Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse Supervisor

Location: Fountain Valley, CA

Department: GI Services

Status: Full time

Shift: Days (8hr shifts)

Pay Range: $68,244.80/yr - $98,945.60/yr

$5,000 signing bonus available to external hires new to MHS employment, contingent upon satisfaction of employment requirements.

Position Summary: Supervise, coordinate and facilitate the back office operations of the clinical site(s) utilizing the five (5) Simply Better steps with every patient and team member interactions.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job:

  1. Must have the ability, skill-set, qualifications, education, and licensure that are required for all the responsibilities this position must cover.
  2. Must excel in communication (written & verbal), customer service and can work independently or as part of a team.
  3. Must excel in prioritization, organization and multi-tasking while demonstrating attention to detail and follow through.
  4. Can utilize critical thinking skills to identify issues, problem solve to logical conclusion, demonstrate initiative, and be responsible.
  5. Demonstrate clinical skill and competency in ambulatory nursing.
  6. Be at work and be on time.
  7. Follow company policies, procedures and directives.
  8. Interact in a positive and constructive manner.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

  1. Three (3) year minimum of LVN clinical nursing experience required.
  2. Two (2) year minimum of clinically relevant supervisory experience highly preferred.

Education:

  1. Current California LVN license with IV Certification Required.
  2. Current BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
