ClearSky Health in Waxahachie, TX is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our inpatient care team. You will provide skilled nursing under RN supervision, administer treatments, and help implement individualized care plans in a safe healing environment.

This role offers 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week with rotating weekends/holidays, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401k match.

Qualifications

CPR required; ACLS & BLS preferred.
1+ year of LPN experience preferred (acute care a plus).
LPN license (State of Texas) active.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you’ll be a key contributor to our patient care team, delivering skilled nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in alignment with physician orders. Your role is essential in supporting individualized care plans, administering treatments, and ensuring a safe and healing environment for every patient. Position Highlights at a Glance

Caseload: ~7 patients
Average Patient Length of Stay: 10-14 days
Conditions: Stroke, brain & spinal cord injuries, cardiac, ortho, complex medical, and more
Team Approach: Work closely with PT/OT/ST, physicians, case managers, respiratory therapy & more
Advanced Care: IVs, trachs, wound care, mobility support, lines, tubes, and drains
12-hour shifts, 3 days/week + rotating weekends/holidays (with added pay)

What You’ll Need

LPN License (State of Texas)
CPR required | ACLS & BLS preferred
1+ year of LPN experience preferred (Acute care a plus)

Physical Requirements

A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time.
Both gross and precise motor functions.
Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs.
Possible exposure to bodily fluids.
Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care.
Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment.
Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard.
Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
