Job Overview

Turning Point Community Programs is seeking a LVN/LPT for our Viking Crisis Residential program in Sacramento. We provide integrated mental health services, employment, and housing to promote recovery, independence, and self-sufficiency. Since 1976, we have been dedicated to offering hope, respect, and support to our community members with psychiatric, emotional, and developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care within the scope of practice, including hygiene, vital signs, assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
• Educate members and staff about health issues, medications, and side effects.
• Support medical needs across facilities as required.
• Monitor and report adverse reactions and medical conditions.
• Follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• Ensure licensure is valid and up-to-date.
• Utilize behavioral management and crisis intervention techniques.
• Participate in social and vocational training, and therapeutic activities.
• Attend multidisciplinary health conferences.
• Administer TB tests, flu shots, injections, and blood draws.
• Comply with agency policies and state licensing standards.

Schedule and Compensation

Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
$30.00 - $31.84 per hour

Requirements
