UT Health East Texas in Tyler, TX is seeking a night shift, full-time Emergency Room Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). This role focuses on delivering urgent, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ER environment.

You will work under licensed personnel, drawing on your emergency nursing experience to assess and support a defined group of patients, ensuring safety and quality outcomes. Qualified candidates must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold Texas LVN licensure, and obtain BLS

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN).
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• As a LVN at UTHET, you are expected to be a competent clinician.
• You are experienced, knowledgeable and skilled in emergency services.
• You will be responsible for responsible for providing technical and human assistance under the direction of licensed personnel to provide care for a defined group of patients to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Healthcare experience.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Clinic experience.
