Job summary

UT Health East Texas in Tyler, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for our outpatient urology clinic. You will provide competent clinical care under licensed personnel and participate in ensuring quality patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds a Texas LVN license, has BLS, and brings healthcare experience. Clinic experience is preferred to support a smooth patient flow and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Permit as a Graduate Vocational Nurse and licensure as an LVN.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.
• Healthcare experience.

• As a LVN/LPN at UTHET, you are expected to be a competent clinician.
• You are experienced, knowledgeable and skilled in nursing.
• You will be responsible for providing technical and human assistance under the direction of licensed personnel to provide care for a defined group of patients to achieve quality patient outcomes.

Job Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing
• Current Texas Permit as a Graduate Vocational Nurse and then Licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
• Healthcare experience
