Job summary

UT Health Tyler is seeking a night shift, full-time LVN to join the Emergency Room team in Tyler, Texas.

As a competent clinician with ER experience, you will provide direct patient care under licensed supervision, maintain patient safety, and support rapid assessment and stabilization.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold Texas LVN licensure, have healthcare experience, and obtain BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Texas Licensure as Licensed Vocational Nurse.
• Healthcare experience.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and human assistance under the direction of licensed personnel to deliver care for a defined group of patients to achieve quality outcomes.
• Be experienced, knowledgeable and skilled in emergency services.
• Contribute to safe, efficient and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced ER setting.
