Job Description: The LVN delivers patient care under the guidelines of the state Nurse Practice Act and Agency policies, under the supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities include:

• Recognize and report symptoms indicating changes in patient condition
• Provide nursing care per policies
• Assist physicians and RNs with procedures
• Observe, record, and report symptoms and reactions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist with patient rehabilitation
• Promote teamwork and participate in staff conferences
• Administer medications, IVs (if allowed), and treatments observing aseptic techniques

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months recent experience, preferably in home care
• Current licensure in California
• Satisfactory references and completion of Agency-LPN/LVN exam
• Proof of pharmacology course completion (e.g., NAPNES)
• Current CPR certification
• Valid Driver's license, auto insurance, or reliable transportation
• Current TB, Physical, and background check
