Job summary

Olympia Convalescent Hospital is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to apply the nursing process and deliver patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

The role is full-time with a 4-2 rotating schedule and shifts include AM and NOC. The position offers a pay scale of $33-$39 per hour with a $1500 sign-on bonus and Korean language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current BLS card.
• One year LVN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and documents nursing diagnoses.
• Coordinate patient care delivered by the multidisciplinary care team.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with input from patient/family.
• Administers prescribed treatments and medications.
• Provides direct nursing care under supervision of a registered nurse.
• Provides nursing care for patients requiring inpatient rehabilitation.
• Conducts patient care conferences for assigned patients.
• Plans and implements nursing care.
• Evaluates nursing care delivered to residents.

Olympia Convalescent Hospital is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Pay Scale: $33-$39 with a $1500 sign on bonus!

Schedule: Full Time and must be able to work a 4-2 rotating schedule

• AM (7am to 3pm)




• NOC (11pm to 7am)

Korean Speaking Preferred

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.




• Performs focused interview to p-identify specific patient needs.




• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.




• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.




• Other Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) duties as assigned.




• Provide general nursing care to patients




• Provide direct nursing care for identified patients




• Provide skilled nursing care as outlined in the nursing care plan




• Providing basic patient care or treatments




• Providing basic patient care or treatments




• Conduct patient care conferences on patient assigned to / care




• Providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Qualifications:

• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License in the state in which the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) practices.




• Current BLS card.




• One year prior Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) experience preferred.
