Job summary

Olympia Convalescent Hospital seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide patient care under the supervision of an RN. The role includes applying the nursing process, delivering care during a 4-2 rotating schedule with a night shift (NOC 11pm–7am), and a $1500 sign-on bonus.

Active LVN license in the state, current BLS, and at least one year of LVN experience are preferred. Korean speaking is encouraged to apply to support our diverse patient population.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) License in the state in which the LVN practices.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
• Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Coordinate patient care delivered by the multidisciplinary care team.
• Develop patient care plans with input from the patient/family.
• Anticipate patient care needs and accommodate physicians.
