Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Fresno, CA seeks an LPN to provide nursing care within scope of practice, following physician orders and facility policies.

Responsibilities include medication administration, patient and family education, and collaboration with physicians during rounds. Prior nursing management experience is a plus but not required; long-term care experience is preferred. Ability to document accurately in PointClickCare is expected.

• Administers treatments timely and per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• Mokes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Objective

Provides nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as LPN in state
• One-year prior nursing management experience preferred, not required.
