Job summary

Aviator Home Health in Dallas, TX is seeking a dedicated LVN to join a dynamic clinical team. Under RN supervision, you will support plan of care, perform treatments, prepare equipment, and educate patients on self-care, while maintaining rigorous documentation and infection control practices.

Applicants should hold an LPN/LVN license, reside in the Dallas area, and bring prior LVN experience. HomeCare HomeBase experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Live in the approximate area specified in the job posting (Required)
• Prior experience as an LVN (Required)
• HomeCare HomeBase experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the RN, participate in planning and implementing specialized procedures and duties that assist in meeting the nursing care needs of the patient in accordance with agency policies
• Assist the RN in carrying out the plan of care
• Prepare equipment and materials for treatments, observing aseptic technique as required
• Assist the patient in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
• Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner
• Provide care utilizing infection control measures that protect both staff and patient
• Provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other health care professionals
• Monitor assigned cases to ensure compliance with requirements of third party payor
• Demonstrate commitment, professional growth and competency
• Promote Agency philosophy and administrative policies to ensure quality of care

Salary is based on many factors including but not limited to education, experience and location. Clinicians are in complete control of their earning potential. Once you meet your quota, you earn an additional $15 plus your regular rate as a bonus. Compensation is directly tied to effort; the more efficient you are the higher your earning potential.
