Job Duties

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision, in accordance with regulations, policies, and best practices.
• Follow residents' care plans and physician’s orders, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for nursing services.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with other resident services for seamless care.
• Participate in facility surveys and inspections as required.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Report any unauthorized access attempts or violations of resident information confidentiality.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers as needed or directed.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, including performing CPR as needed.
• Respect residents' dignity and privacy in all care activities.
• Perform nursing interventions timely, providing explanations when delays occur.
• Conduct regular rounds to monitor staff performance and resident care.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

• Valid, active LVN license in the state.
• Certificate in Vocational Nursing.
• Preferred: 2 years of Long-Term Care experience.
• Preferred: 6 months in rehabilitative and restorative nursing.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a professional attitude.
• Knowledge of Point Click Care is a plus.
• Computer skills: Outlook, Office, Internet.
