Job summary

HealthCARE Express in Texas is seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team. The role offers full-time status with 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM and rotating Saturdays, and a pay rate of $26 per hour.

As part of our team you will obtain vital signs, administer medications, assist with procedures, and maintain accurate documentation while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license and active state licensure.
• Experience in urgent care or fast-paced clinics preferred.
• Strong patient communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and patient histories.
• Administer oral, IM, and IV medications.
• Perform venipuncture and TB testing.
• Apply splints, dressings and other treatments.
• Remove sutures and staples.
• Assist Providers with procedures and patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service.

What You'll Do

As an LPN, you'll work alongside our Providers and clinic team to care for patients of all ages and help keep the clinic running smoothly.

Responsibilities may include:

• Obtaining vital signs and patient histories
• Administering oral, IM, and IV medications
• Performing venipuncture and TB skin testing
• Applying splints, dressings, and other treatments
• Removing sutures and staples
• Assisting Providers with procedures and patient care
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Providing excellent patient care and customer service
