Job summary

HealthCARE Express is seeking a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our urgent care team in Texas. You will provide hands-on patient care on a fast-paced unit and support providers to keep the clinic running smoothly.

This full-time position features 12-hour shifts (8 AM–8 PM) with rotating Saturdays. The role involves vital signs, medication administration, venipuncture, dressing changes, wound care, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active LPN license.
• X-ray certification required on onboarding; training paid by employer.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced urgent care environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and patient histories.
• Administer oral, intramuscular, and IV medications.
• Perform venipuncture and TB skin testing.
• Apply splints and dressings; provide wound care.
• Remove sutures and staples; assist Providers with procedures.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Deliver excellent patient care and customer service.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Full-Time

Pay: $26/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts, 8 AM–8 PM | Rotating Saturdays

What You'll Do

As an LPN, you'll work alongside our Providers and clinic team to care for patients of all ages and help keep the clinic running smoothly.

Responsibilities may include:

• Obtaining vital signs and patient histories
• Administering oral, IM, and IV medications
• Performing venipuncture and TB skin testing
• Applying splints, dressings, and other treatments
• Removing sutures and staples
• Assisting Providers with procedures and patient care
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Providing excellent patient care and customer service
