Job summary

Best Friends Veterinary Hospital, part of the Suveto network, is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our Cookeville, TN team. You will perform advanced medical, diagnostic, and laboratory tasks under a veterinarian's supervision in a busy hospital setting.

We require a TN-licensed technician with at least 3 years of clinical experience, excellent communication, and a collaborative attitude.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in Tennessee required (TN).
• At least 3 years of clinical veterinary hospital experience.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Flexible and able to adapt to new situations.
• Ability to multitask and work as a team.
• Basic veterinary medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors in medical and diagnostic procedures.
• Place IV catheters and initiate fluid therapy.
• Perform diagnostic imaging as requested by veterinarian.
• Conduct tech appointments and routine lab work.
• Maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and records.
• Follow OSHA regulations and hospital safety standards.
