Jobtailor is seeking a Lead in-house ultrasonography and imaging specialist in Porter, TX. You will perform abdominal and thoracic ultrasound scans, assist veterinary professionals with procedures, and lead imaging workflows, working at the top of the LVT license per AAHA guidance.

You will utilize modern diagnostic equipment and participate in career growth activities, including precepting, skill checkoffs, and leadership training.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid Texas Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) state license.
  • LVT credential required to practice at the top of the license.
  • Ability to lead in-house ultrasonography and imaging workflow.
  • Ability to perform high-quality abdominal and thoracic ultrasound scans.
  • Ability to assist veterinary professionals with medical procedures.
  • Willingness to work full-time with flexible scheduling and a predictable weekend rotation.
  • Fear Free training and certification supported.

Job description

Lead in-house ultrasonography and imaging workflow.
Perform high-quality abdominal and thoracic ultrasound scans.
Assist veterinary professionals with medical procedures.
Serve as a clinical leader and ensure medical excellence with a patient-first mindset.
Work at the top of the LVT license in accordance with AAHA utilization guidance.
Utilize modern diagnostic and clinical equipment, including digital DR, dental radiography, in-house laboratory equipment, infusion pumps, and multi-parameter monitors.
Participate in career growth activities including precepting, skill checkoffs, and leadership training.
